Joan Savoy

Joan Savoy is a former registered nurse who is retired from a career in healthcare and nonprofit organization management. Originally from New Orleans where she also served as Vice President of Community Development for the N.O. Regional Chamber of Commerce and Executive Director of the New Orleans East Economic Development Foundation.

 

After moving to Lafayette in 2006, she continued
her nonprofit management career until her retirement in 2011. She currently serves as Vice Chair of the Lafayette Public Trust Financing Authority and is Past President of the Lafayette Public Library Foundation. She enjoys serving the community in a variety of roles and working to improve policies that make a difference.
