Angela Morrison
Angela M. Morrison has served in various capacities in the nonprofit industry and is currently Hospice of Acadiana, Inc.'s VP of Strategic Partnerships. As a member of the senior leadership team, she leads the efforts to expand the organization's partnership and support base. She is responsible for developing and executing a highly strategic, innovative and collaborative plan to identify and engage critical community partners who share a commitment to the ongoing need for high quality hospice, palliative and wrap-around services for those HOA, Inc. serves.
Through her work experience and love of the community she has had various volunteer opportunities to lead and serve . She served on the Women’s and Children’s Hospital Board of Trustees for 12 years and now serves on Our Lady of Lourdes board of directors. In 2019, Angela was unanimously elected by the Lafayette Consolidated Council to the Lafayette Public Trust Financing Authority board of trustees. She is a member of the advisory board for Parish Proud and Women of Wisdom of Acadiana, Inc.
Past board service includes One Acadiana regional economic development agency and Lafayette Chamber, Hospice of Acadiana’s Foundation (Treasurer), UL Lafayette Alumni Association (Past President and Government Affairs Chair), United Way of Acadiana, Junior League of Lafayette (Past-President and Sustaining Member Board Director At-Large); Acadiana Youth; Workforce Investment (LA District 40), Acadiana Volunteer Organizations Active in Disaster and the City of Lafayette Commission on the Needs of Women (Past-President). Angela is a Class XV graduate of Leadership Lafayette. She is married to A Curtis Morrison, and they have two sons, retired Army Lt. Col. Rafael Morrison and Adam Christopher Morrison.
